The blog is not dead!

I am SO behind on updating this thing that I was ready to give up. Luckily I came to my senses and decided to catch up by posting a few pictures of where we are now. As always, there is still lots to do but LOTS that’s been accomplished!

We have done TONS to the outside, but I’ll save that for another day. Or month 😜.

    1. Hi Kara! The grey is Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore, the white is White Dove by Benjamin Moore and the mint shade is Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams. All great colors that we are still loving almost a year later! Thanks for visiting 🙂

  1. Hi Heather! I used your paint colors you found on Pinterest for the revere pewter, seasalt and dove white (plus a couple others) and I was really liking how the Annie Sloan linen chalk paint on the front door went with the revere pewter. I’m wondering now that it’s been a good year or so, how the chalk paint has held up on the exterior? Worth it?
    Thanks!

    1. Hi, Nikki! Thanks for stopping by! I’m glad you liked the paint colors. 2 years in and we have not regretted our choices! The chalk paint held up great on the exterior but here are some things to consider: we have a covered front porch and had a storm door over our front door. If your door is not that protected, I would consider using an exterior grade topcoat over the chalk paint rather than using the traditional wax. Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks!

      1. Yay! So glad to hear it! Thanks for your super quick reply! We have a storm door as well so I’m gonna make it happen! I know it’s like $35 a qt, did you need more than a qt to do the door? I’ll try the wax too 🙂
